Tents and Marquees have again been chosen as contractor for this cultural event in Ironbridge Telford, which is taking place on 14th and 15th July. The Brass Band Festival, which is held at The Museum of Iron in Coalbrookdale, is primarily an open-air festival. And, as we all know, the British weather makes hiring a marquee essential for the success of any festival event.
The festival is free to attend, aims to make brass band music more accessible to the general public and features many local bands. It also has another noble aim: to raise funds for charitable causes. To do this the event organisers are putting on “the last night of the proms” event on Saturday 14th July with all profits going to the Severn Hospice. This concert has raised over £10,000 since it first held in 2005 and event organisers hope to beat last year’s total of £2800 raised. As you may’ve read in previous news charity is something which is close to Tents & Marquees’ hearts which is why we love contributing to this unique Shropshire happening. With a wide range of stock to choose from (we offer everything starting with our traditional marquee to the modern clearspan ) and an extensive variety of interiors to select from, you can be sure that your celebration will be a success with Shropshire’s Tents and Marquees.
